Ergo’s proven consultancy methodology for managing planned business change is centred on a structured process to analyse and report on the various components of the business. Specifically, the programme will focus on understanding three key factors within an organization, these three factors are:
Diagnostics
Each of Ergo's consultancy solutions begins by building a 360 view of all business change programmes, projects and initiatives and the management processes in place. The PACE application is used to
- Create an inventory of all planned change
- Identify the change subjects (the business units/departments, business processes, job roles, systems etc.) that will be impacted by change.
- Quantify the impact of change on operational KPI's.
The result, a composite change picture, is then used as an input to the next step.
Dialogue
Workshops are used to engage stakeholders and further develop the change picture, driving out an operational view of strategy. These workshops are focused on defining the Change Performance Indicators (CPI's) which are:
- Benefit Verification – Do the benefits stack up?
- Stakeholder Experience – Do the changes form a coherent communications story?
- Change Absorption/Strain – What is the impact on current/target performance?
- Change Readiness – Are people ready?
Dynamic
The composite change picture will change continually, in response to new projects and changes to business performance. This final step embeds the PACE application and delivers skills transfer to client staff so they are able to maintain the dynamic business plan and approve new change in the context of in flight activity.
