MSP™ Briefing
Background
This one day briefing provides an overview of the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP™) methodology and gives an insight into its content and structure.
MSP™ consists of:
- Principles that apply to any change programme;
- A Transformational Flow which acts as the route map through a programme;
- The Governance structure required to ensure that the programme is within corporate visibility and control.
The day will help you understand the "language" of MSP™ and how the method will help you ensure that the Benefits envisaged by the Strategic Objective of the programme can be tracked and measured through to full realisation in the operational environment.
The objectives of this course are:
- To understand how the perspective of a Programme differs from that of its constituent projects;
- To understand what the MSP™ Principles are and how they need to be applied throughout the Programme;
- To understand what the processes are at different stages throughout the lifecycle of a Programme;
- To understand the type of Governance framework required to run successful programmes;
- To understand some of the key terminology and how the terms are defined in MSP™.
