Business Change Management - 2 Day Workshop
Learn about best practice tools and techniques for implementing Business Change
This two day practical Workshop is being delivered by the Business Change Management specialists Ergo. The Workshop will help organisations successfully introduce change to their business, whether the need for change is driven by expansion, contraction or consolidation for survival. The Workshop provides guidance on best practice in programme management. Ergo's own business change management methodology will be explained in the context of practical workshop examples.
The Workshop guides the delegate through the use of tools and techniques by building on a realistic scenario taken from your own business environment. The scenario taken from your environment will be agreed in advance of the workshop. The participants will be invited to contribute their knowledge and experience to the practical exercises to assist the learning and understanding process and to ensure that the workshop is both current and relevant.
Ergo also offer fully accredited MSP™ Foundation and Practitioner training as open events or as in-house session for your business alone.
Course objectives
Following the Workshop the delegates will know:
- What a Business Change Manager (BCM) is and what their responsibilities are;
- How to use some of the best practice tools and techniques to fulfil the BCM responsibilities effectively
- How Ergo's PACE Business Change Management approach will help
The workshop will focus on providing delegates with practical experience of some common Business Change Management tools and techniques including Ergo's own PACE Business Change Management strategy. Ergo's approach provides clear links from the Strategic Objectives, through the Programme and Project outputs, and on to the impacts on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) i.e. you will know how, where and when your strategic objectives will be delivered.
All participants will take away an electronic copy of the output from their group Workshop activities.
At the end of the workshop the Delegate will:
- Know the definition of a Programme and how it relates to corporate strategy (Change Drivers).
- Know the importance of communication in a Programme and how a clear vision is an essential tool for that communication.
- Know how Programmes and Projects (Change Enablers) can ensure that their deliverables relate to the intended strategic objective and benefits of the Programme.
- Know what a Future State is, and be able to produce a Future State design for the changed operation that supports the Change Drivers.
- Be able to identify typical planning, communication and other activities that would be required to help lead the organisation (Change Subjects) through the process of change and prepare the people affected by the Programme.
- Be given practical advice and discussion time for each session.
