The Enterprise PACE Application

The Enterprise PACE application is the hub for integrating all the implementation activities from both project plans and tactical initiatives in order to develop change runways for key customers, departments, processes or systems.



Enterprise PACE has a unique “Scenario Engine” which allows networks of business users to model scenario’s and outcomes exploiting all the entities available within the model, such as organisational areas, programmes, projects, KPI’s. This modelling is done in a completely secure environment such that changes do not impact the integrity of the model, or indeed other business users working on different outcomes using subsets of the same information.

The power of the production workspace is in its ability to act as an overlay bringing together otherwise heterogeneous networks of business entities (such as Strategic Capabilities, Programmes and Assets) that may be currently partitioned by virtue of their stakeholder or reporting-system ownership. 

This ability to model scenario outcomes while working against a consistent view of the business enables a true 360 view of change impact that facilitates both improved cross departmental dialogue and enhanced situational awareness.

Role Based Security
For Enterprise users Role Based Security allows for the definition of Roles to which users can be added in order to delegate the Administration of the day to day system usage.

For more demanding environments where the visibility of specific data to non authorised users is a concern, PACE offers the ability to apply security down to the most granular levels of the application.

Conflict Resolution
In complex and fast changing business environments a single version of the truth doesn't persist for long, which is why PACE offers an innovative array of tools for Scenario Modelling, Conflict Resolution and Analysis for each step of the change management process.

By default every User of the system is given there own security dependant view of the overall data.  This view can be likened to a transparency that overlies a drawing. The end user is at liberty to simply scribble, model or amend in any way the picture they see in front of them at any given instant. 

End users can request to make any of their personal changes visible to all the other users of the system by submitting any individual or bulk changes via the PACE Arbitration process. 

Application Navigation
PACE offers intuitive data navigation interfaces for both Administrators and end users.

End users can easily build and navigate across otherwise complex data relationships through the use of exploration trees, grids, and forms.  Defaults for how a user will experience the application can set by the Administrator and can be later overridden by the user as they start to find their own preferred perspectives on the data.

Framework Flexibility
PACE has been built from the ground up using version 2.0 of Microsoft’s C# framework meaning simplified and pain free deployment to the enterprise without the need to worry about conflicts with existing Windows software.

The data schema of the core application can be extended within a manageable process to support customer specific structures including bespoke visualisations and reporting options. 

Plug and play reporting capabilities additionally ensure that ‘must have’ reports identified post implementation can be supplied as additional libraries that are simply dropped in over the top of the existing application for zero downtime.
